Meet hair, check!

Tommie and her girls drove to the meet, which means hanging out
with her for the 3rd week in a row!!

5th and 7th in all around.  They were just happy that they got to stand together.

2nd place team, after losing to the home team.

Riley's grandpa and her great-uncle came for the meet!!  She was super excited to have support there.  She had a pulled groin and is still struggling with some skills so was super excited to have some smiling faces in the crowd.

Vault champion for the second meet in a row.  Her vault was amazing.

Since the meet was so early in the morning, we were able to get home for my Aunts' 70th birthday party.

Aah for the days that these two were the same size.

Look who is in town!!  These two are thrilled to be back together.

Riley had practice today after school.  Rick and I picked her up and immediately headed North.  Riley's meet is early tomorrow and we didn't want to spend 3 hours in the car there and back tomorrow.  We got to the hotel by 9and headed to dinner at Bagger Dave's.  Meanwhile, Riley watched the semi-state football game in the back seat where she saw her high school advance to the state finals for the first time in school history.

Okay, so we have Riley practicing with the clown band.  Then unicorn snot which was an unsuccessful suggestion for Riley's little gymnastics buddies.  To be fair, it was a "no" because it's $12 a container since I would have to buy it from the hospital gift shop and I wasn't that desperate.  It does remind me to check the price on Amazon.  In other news, we had our first nasty weather of the season with some lovely ice.  And the food was Riley's Ahi salad and my beef stew.

November 13, 2018 - Fall Showcase

For the past couple of years, we've been trying to make it to an IU football game so Riley could see the Marching Hundred performance.  Last night, we did the next best thing and went to see the Marching Hundred "Recital".   All of the bands played.  Some of them I liked and some I didn't.  I did really enjoy watching the Hundred perform, especially Sing Sing Sing which was my favorite when I was in school.  Riley ran into a friend/classmate and we had dinner at BuffaLouie's.

That's a lasagna.  I made it in an 8x8 pan.  It got a little overflowy but it still was a much better size than the normal 10x13 that I normally make.

This nutball came home in this outfit.  Gymnastics leo and shorts, a cardigan, a letter jacket, harry potter socks and shoes.

We started off the new day with a 3AM speech

This girlio went to the same school as Riley.

This made me laugh...out loud.

Two of our favorite alumni!

All three of these kiddoes were CMNH champions.  Olivia is the tall one in red.  She's 12.

Riley and I were by ourselves at the marathon.  It ended at 10AM (usually at noon).  That enabled us to head back to the hotel and shower.

My friend Dave has giant hands.  Riley looks like a toddler.
