Today was the IUDM Day of Hope. Purdue held their Day of Miracles yesterday and raised over $150,000 in one day! We drove down to Bloomington to check in on our IU friends and Riley told her story for probably the 1000th time. But today she spoke while standing in front of a giant photo of herself and it got me. She also hung out with her friends, donated a couple of shirts for an auction and raised almost $400 with that auction. She made new friends, hung out with the guys from Another Round, had a million photos taken, did some dancing and found herself ready to be on campus herself. *sigh*
All this made me a little teary. Time needs to slow down.
