It was a school day, so how exciting could it have been?
Well, first, we headed downtown (not to school) to attend a press conference at the Indiana Statehouse. The First Lady spoke about the Dance Marathon movement and how in Indiana alone, it has raised over $50 million dollars. Riley was there to introduce the First Lady. They hit it off and Riley got a hilarious note from her excusing her from school.
She eventually drove herself to school and I went back to work but we all three met back up at home so Riley could be inducted into the National Honor Society at school! What a huge honor and what a big day!
