A couple of weeks ago, Riley found out that IUDM's Day of Hope was scheduled for today. She asked if she could miss school. I said no. She asked if I would take her, then remembered she had saxophone lessons. So she asked if I would take her afterward. I said yes, so long as we agreed to leave at 9 so we'd be home by 10. That did not happen. We got home at 12:30, just in time for the total reveal. In one day, the students at IU raised $497,000.
These are Riley's buddies from the Entertainment committee. Some of them she knows, most of them she doesn't. But she's getting better at remembering names and being friendly to those she doesn't know.
One of the reasons that we did not leave on time is that Another Round showed up for a mini concert. And they gave Riley a shout out. And then asked for a boy band photo which they then put on their instagram.
Reason #2 that we did not leave on time. Alex showed up. Alex is like Riley's big brother and he has vanished a bit since graduating in May. But he found us.

This is the Marathon Relations committee. Riley is an honorary member. In a few years, she probably will be a real member. They are the committee that goes to high school dance marathons.
I joked that it looked like she was signing her National Letter of Intent.
The guy with the glasses is President of IUDM. The two of them are her DM dads. She decided that this would be her last group of DM dads since she's not that much younger than they are.
This is Riley's buddy Anna. She's in charge of all of the Riley kids but she was paired with Riley first.
This is Jesse. He's on exec. He loves Riley because she gave him a chocolate chip cookie.
