Riley skipped the band awards last night because she had gymnastics practice. She said when she came out, she had 17 text messages. She won band member of the year for the wind ensemble as voted on by directors and classmates. I think it's funny that she was student of the month, athlete of the month and band member of the year. That's a pretty good year.
