Rick and I celebrated 26 years of marriage by not even seeing each other haha! I did give him a quick peck on the forehead before I left for work since he was still in bed.
I ended up driving over to the track in Speedway for a fundraiser while Rick and Riley went to clown band practice.
Here's the thing about anniversaries: Yes, they should be acknowledged but the whole rest of the year should be too. You and Rick make time for each other throughout the year. You spend time together and talk and just actually still like each other. That's so much more important than spending one day celebrating all that you are to each other. You both already KNOW what you are to each other. Love to you both.
