March 19, 2021

Our trip to Murfreesboro took us to one of the National Parks in the area which deals with the Civil War.  It wasn't super exciting but it was freezing and we were able to visit without having to be outside the car much.  We listened to the tour through an app on my phone.

We discovered a hotel chain while out west that has a kitchenette.  So we packed a portable stove and a pan and made our own shrimp, seared ahi and Rick had a steak.

Don't worry, we cooked the steak longer.

This was Riley's meatless dinner.

It's a Friday during Lent and the place we stopped for lunch did not have any meatless options that looked good.  The bartender also did not have a mask over her face, just saying.  Anyway, we stayed away from her and had some AMAZING parmesan fries with a truffle dipping sauce.

I don't think she minded missing out on our "Family" vacation.
This is a combination saxophone and trumpet.  That's kind of cute.

I was in the hotel when I announced that Riley had been there.  Rick immediately caught on.  Riley was/is notorious for stopping the microwave right before it goes off.  As you can see, there are 7 seconds left on this one.
