About a year ago, one of our friends and fellow clown band(er) got engaged. Today, she got married. The plan was for a beautiful outdoor wedding on a farm on the far West side of Indiana. Rick was asked to brew beer for the event so he's been working his brew magic for months, plus he was playing music in the wedding.
Unfortunately, we woke up to 8" of snow and it kept falling. We left early and the roads were fine. I know we ended up with 10.5". But it was beautiful and they moved the wedding inside. Rick's beer was amazing (I think, I didn't taste it), the bride was gorgeous, the live band was fantastic, our friends were great to be around and someone may have met a boy...who lives in Wisconsin. But she had her first slow dance with this boy and lived to tell the tale. And even though she would probably kill me for saying this, he texted her after and asked her if she had a boyfriend. She said, "No" and he was all "what? How is that possible? You are cute and funny and smart..." So there we go for posterity and all.
