Hair done, makeup done, fancy dress put on...my favorite reaction of the night was when Riley walked out of the bathroom to find her friend A who was waiting for her to get dressed. A took one look at Riley and put her hands up to her mouth and whispered, "You look like a princess." And she did.
Ooh, another good story. So Riley was set to have surgery 16 years ago yesterday to repair her PDA. We waited all day for the surgery only to find out later that the operating room was busy separating conjoined twins. We even watched the press conference from the NICU lounge that night. I remember being a bit put out that they were deemed more important but I hope I took a minute to pray for those two little girls and THEIR mom.
Anywho, they were reading the bios for the other miracle models and introduced one young lady who was separated from her identical twin 16 years ago yesterday. I couldn't believe it!! She's pictured with Riley below.
