We have a really great brining recipe for pork chops.  It's from America's test kitchen and it includes brown sugar, salt, cloves, garlic and some other random things.  A few months ago, Riley took a stab at making the brine and forgot the salt.  We explained later that salt = brine.  HAHA.  Anyway, Rick and I teamed up on the brine today and it was perfection.  He was also super impressed with his grill marks so there you go.  Eat your heart out.


I found some Rainier cherries today and even though I took about half out of the package before purchasing, I have been enjoying them.  We were lucky enough to be in Seattle one year when the cherries were fresh and we picked them up at the market.  They were also perfection.
